The Warther Museum is a motivational, inspirational experience for your group. Your group will be
amazed to learn what one man created with little money or education, but a love of family, carving,
and steam locomotives. We have hosted groups since it opened in 1963. We offer special rates and
events for groups of 15 or more. Please let us know ahead of time if you are bringing a group to see the
museum. It helps us to plan staffing for the day and to be able to greet your group when you arrive.

NEW! Garden Dinner Tour
Enjoy an outdoor BBQ themed meal in our wonderful gardens when you arrive at the museum. BBQ
chicken, mac & cheese, baked beans, coleslaw await you as you can take in the beauty of the Warther
Gardens. After your meal enjoy a fully guided tour of the museum and learn about America’s unknown
genius, Ernest “Mooney” Warther. Find out how the Warther family makes their high quality kitchen

NEW! Freida Impersonator
Freida Warther, wife of Ernest “Mooney” Warther, comes to life as she guides you through the
museum and explains the story of the Warther family from her perspective. Learn how she
knew when a carving was about to be completed and her role in the family story.
Cost: $2/person extra
Standard Museum Tour
The Warther Museum is a one of kind place honoring the life and carvings of Ernest (Mooney) Warther.
Your group will experience a fully guided one hour tour of the museum where they will learn about
Mooney’s life, how and when he carved, his outstanding time management, and his interesting
philosophies. Then you will see how and where the famous Warther Knives are made; which are sold
only in our gift shop. Groups may also browse through the Warther family home and see Freida’s
Button House and gardens.
Adult: $10/person
Student: $4/person
Time Allotment: You should allow 2 hours for your stay at the museum. The tour lasts approximately
one hour which leaves an hour for your group to visit the gift shop, Warther home, Button House, and
the beautiful seasonal gardens.
Dinner Tour
If you are staying in the area or looking for an elegant dinner experience, consider Warther’s Dinner
Tour. After 5 p.m., your group will receive a private tour of Warther's plus a candlelight dinner in the
Ivory Room. This is a great opportunity to explore the carvings and gardens in the quiet of the evening.
Reservations are required for the Dinner Tour. A minimum of 20 is needed for a dinner tour.

Hobo Lunch
Looking for a fun, unique option for lunch at the Warther Museum? Try our hobo lunch in our beautiful
outdoor gazebo. Our hobo will share lots of interesting stories about life as a “bo” while you enjoy “hobo stew”, turkey sandwiches, slaw and hobo cake. Before or after lunch, you will also receive a
guided tour of the Warther Museum. A minimum of 20 is needed for a Hobo Lunch.

We have ample bus parking. After entering the main parking area follow the signs to the top of the hill for drop-off access and bus parking.
